Game Launchers
A game launcher is a tool that lets the player configure various settings (display, sound, input etc.) and start the game. There are official launchers and fan-made launchers.

Fan-made Launchers
This launcher is added by the SADX Mod Installer and is meant to replace official launchers for SADX. It lets you configure controls and run the Mod Manager. Its interface is optimized for keyboard, mouse and gamepad navigation for easier use on both desktop and console form factor PCs, such as the Steam Deck.
Mod Managers as Launchers
Game launchers are not strictly necessary, and the mod managers can be used as advanced game launchers. Separate launchers are only there for convenience and a streamlined user interface that hides advanced settings.
However, at the moment the SA Mod Manager doesn't have control settings, so for specific controls configuration the fan-made SADX Launcher is still necessary.
